MONTESSORI INFANT PROGRAM
Order and Simplicity
Clean, uncluttered environment fostering focus and calm: Our wonderful, cozy, warm childcare environment is specially designed for mobility, and to foster growing independence.
Prepared Environment
Our wonderful Montessori infant care environment is cozy, warm, and specially designed for mobility. In our lovely infant classroom setting, we foster and nurture your child’s independence. We welcome children as young as 04 weeks old and have them continue with us till they turn 16 months old and are ready to transition to move up to the young toddler environment.
Our Infant environment is a small and intimate setting with very limited spots. Our Infant teachers have been with us for many years providing consistency of care. Our teachers keep meticulous records of each Infant’s feeding, eating, drinking, sleeping and playing schedule and share the same with parents at end of each day.
Freedom within Limits
Our infant Montessori environment is a serene, loving sanctuary. The environment is mindfully and in an aesthetically pleasing way, separated into areas for playing, eating, sleeping and diapering. Unlike traditional childcare and Daycare settings, our prepared Infant environment is free of high-chairs or playpens as well as free of modern electronic gadgetry that beeps, sings or glows.
In our infant classrooms we offer:
- Plenty of floor space for children to move and explore, as they are ready.
- Well positioned, low mirrors on walls for self-discovery
- Multi-children’s strollers for walks and designated outdoor time.
- A variety of Montessori based mobile, wooden objects, and soft protected furniture for children to explore and stimulate development.
- We follow a child’s natural sleeping and waking process.s
- Meals and feedings are determined by a child’s natural hunger patterns.
- A variety of age-appropriate books and reading materials for children to explore

Q : Can I enroll anytime?
Q : What are your school hours of operation?
Q : What will my child’s typical day be like?
A : Of course, the typical day is different for each age group but in general, all programs start the morning with a quiet activity like puzzle/reading etc. This is followed by Montessori education in each of the five key areas that are mentioned below. Then, the children enjoy outdoor time, followed by lunch, and naptime (for appropriate age groups). After lunch/naptime, each program participates in small group-based learning activities and social time. Please refer to our classroom schedule for more details.
Q : What type of curriculum is used at Freedom Montessori School.
A : At FMS, we fully embrace Dr. Montessori’s belief that childhood education must be progressive. Our Montessori curriculum is tailored to provide continuous improvement specific for each child. Our curriculum offers children five key areas of study: Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language, and Culture.
